One Hour Dinner Rolls

One Hour Dinner Rolls

For this recipes I use an electric stand mixer with the dough hook.
preheat oven to 375 °F.
INGREDIENT List:
3 1/2 to 4 cups flour all purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated cane sugar
1 Tbsp rapid rise yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup milk
4 Tbsp salted butter
1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp butter for tops
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 1/2 cups flour, the sugar, yeast, and salt.
2. In a small saucepan, melt butter on low heat. Add water and milk, heating until it reaches 120°F (pleasantly warm bathwater feel).
3. Add vinegar to the milk mixture and stir.
4. Slowly pour the liquid into the dry ingredients while mixing. Knead for 3-3 1/2 minutes until smooth and elastic, adding flour as needed.
5. Cover and let the dough rest for 8 minutes.
6. Butter a 9 X 13 baking dish.
7. On a floured surface, shape dough into a square and cut into 16 pieces. Use the 16th piece to even out the other 15 pieces.
8. Shape into 15 balls and place in the buttered dish. Lightly dampen the tops with water.
9. Cover and let rise on the counter for 25 minutes.
10. Preheat your oven to 375°F. While the oven heats, let the rolls continue to rest on the counter.
11. Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden brown. Remove and immediately brush with melted butter.
12. Serve warm and store leftovers in an airtight container.
