One Hour Dinner Rolls

One Hour Dinner Rolls

For this recipes I use an electric stand mixer with the dough hook.
preheat oven to 180 °F.
1.in a mixing bowl , whisk together 3 1/2 cups flour, the sugar, yeast and salt
2. in a small saucepan add butter and melt on low heat until butter it is melted stirring constantly.careful not to burn add water and milk continue on low heat until it reaches 120 degrees on a thermometer, turn off heat. if you don't have a thermometer just remember it should be to the feel of pleasantly warm bathwater.
3. add in vinegar to milk mixture and stir in.
4.pour milk mixture into dry ingredients slowly, while mixing slowly. when liquid is all poured in gradually increase speed to about med-low.knead about 3-3 1/2 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic while adding additional flour as needed. dough will be a little sticky but manageable.
5. cover bowl with plastic wrap or towel and let rest about 8 minutes.
6.butter a 9X13 baking dish .
7.put dough on a lightly floured surface. shape into an evenly level square. cut into 16 squares as equal in size as possible .
8. shape into 16 balls. place in buttered 9×13 baking dish. I brush a little water on top just to dampen slightly so they don't dry in oven while rising.
9.place rolls in oven and turn of heat. let rise 20 minutes. keep door closed.
10. remove rolls and preheat oven to 375°F, I just let rolls rest on a towel on the counter while oven is preheating.
11.Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minute, until tops are a nice golden brown. Remove from oven and brush on melted butter .
12. serve warm .store leftovers in an airtight container.
